"I've been put in situations. When they're over, I always think of that." He said quickly.

Ack didn't know how to respond and just jumped down from the tree. Pausing, she sat down next to the tree and looked around at the fallen leaves.

CRA-ASH!!
Haze toppled out of his hammock at the noise. It echoed far across the fields.
"F***! We have to go see what happened!"

Ack jumped up too, nodding in response, she fled past him to the noise.

He followed quickly behind her.

Shadow shrieked in response to the bullet in his right arm. It came out of absolutely nowhere. He looked around in pain to figure out who the shooter was.
But there was no one anywhere.

Ack wasn't breaking a sweat. (idk)

Cho looked around then back at Shadow "OH MY GODS ARE YOU OKAY?!"

He shook the terror off, and gripped his heavily bleeding arm tight. "Just great." He winced. He didn't know any healing spells; only killing spells.

Cho looked around "Who's there?!" She shouted, her voice wasn't shaken as much as she was.

"Cho! Shadow! Is that you?!" Haze shouted back. "What happened?!"

All this stalling was only making him bleed more. "Gods damn it! I need to wrap this up. I don't sense anyone around; not for a 70 mile radius." Then what the freakin' hell hit me, and why? He thought.

Cho looked at Haze. "A bullet hit Shadow!" she exclaimed, "Can one of you go back and get the bandages? I believe there's a stock near the *idk*"

Ack looked up "I'll go!" Cho sighed in relief, "Thanks, Shade." Ack didn't hesitate and ran baco as fast as she could.

Shadow clutched his arm tightly, his left hand now stained red with blood. He felt strangely cold...
Haze stood in place and didn't know what to do. He felt incredibly stupid.

Ack didn't take long, she had already explored the shelter and already knew where everything was. She grabbed what she could and ran back.

"Bullets hurt..." muttered Shadow. "I think it was better when enemies were shooting arrows and not bullets at me. They're easier to avoid. Nghh...!" He tightened his grip.

Ack rushed to Cho's side. Cho took what she needed and asked Shadow to let go of his arm so she coud wrap it up. Ack refused to watch as she shifted uncomfortably. All this blood was making her remember when her parent's...

NO! I won't go back to that!

Shadow sensed her change in mood. He let go of his arm and winced in pain.

Cho wrapped it up gently, making sure it wouldn't seep through.

"Thanks." He said. "I hope this heals quickly, I favor my right arm over my left."

(<-- MY TOTALLY AWESOME PICTURE OF ACK.) Cho accepted his apology and backed away. "I guess we should go back to the shelter, Falling will be worried if he heard that gun(SHHHHOOOOOOTTT)."
Ack couldn't help but be curious of what Cho's life was like before, What made her like she is today? she thought. Maybe she should ask... Well, not right now. Maybe later. (I'm re-doing her past again, Lol. Hopefully this will be the last time. I've already come up with a bunch of things.)

Shadow nodded, gripped his arm tenderly, and politely asked where the shelter was.

Cho pointed out the way.
Ack began to feel uncomfortable again as she stared at the puddle of blood that had fallen, but pushed it out of her mind as soon as she could.

Haze felt her change in mood and moved closer, asking what was wrong.

Ack gave him a look as if she wasn't expecting him to ask. "No, I'm fine." there was a small tremor in her voice.

"No, no. There's obviously something wrong. Why not share it? I won't bite..." He said, innocently.

"There's nothing wrong with me!" she snapped and started back to the shelter. She obviously didn't want to share anything with him.

Haze recoiled and felt stupid.
Damn... I shoulda known not to ask any further...
