Shadow noticed her change in mood. "What's wrong?" He asked, calmly.
Haze took interest as well.

"There's a ****ing dart in Falling! A ****ing sleep dart!" she said. "And the initials...Oh, Sage, have mercy!"

Shadow leaped down. "A sleeping dart?!" The memories of the war rushed past again. "It's an ambush..."

Her panic rose. "And not just from anyone." She whispered.

"What are you talking about?! Humans?!" Shadow was panicky, simply because he hadn't asked to be a part of the war again. And this time, there was no Mace or Zane to guide him.

"Well," she gulped. "Might not be the worst to you but.." she paused, "My father. Those are his initials....I don't need to memorize them when they are engraved in my skin."

"...My Gods, Cho. I can see why you'd want to hide that, but..." Shadow was also one to be hurt deeply by deception.

"You don't know what he did to me." she whispered.

"I can relate, somewhat. You don't have to share." He looked at Falling, whose sleep seemed alien now. "What do we do?"

"Well we've got to do something with Falling," she began.
"I got it," Ava rose to her feet, walked up to Falling and.. Slap!

Falling's numbed nerves heated up and he jumped. "Gah!" He yelped. "...wait, who...?"

Ava smiled. "We don't want you asleep in the middle of an ambush do we?" it hurt her to talk, but she was glad he was awake. Fear jerked through Cho, but she edged it away, He mustn't know.
Tear stared at Falling. This is the first time he had seen him awake. He seemed so much stronger now, Tear flinched.

"Who's that? How long have I been out?! Nng, HAZE, WHY ARE YOU SO CLOSE TO SHADE?!"
Haze flinched at the last question, and moved back.

Cho answered. "That's Tear. You've been out for a couple days, actually..slept through a battle with a demon, and a battle with Tear as well. And..well.."
Ava had started coughing. She had talked too much.

On instinct, Haze moved toward her again to comfort her, but Falling's cruel gaze broke him of the idea.

Tear almost laughed at the scene "I told her not to talk." He commented.
Ava gave him a glare "I should have killed you right away" she hissed between coughs.

"Seems I've missed out on the fun." He commented, standing. "What about an ambush, now?"

Cho breathed the words out. "You where shot by a sleeping dart, Falling. It had initials on it.." she was tense. Not because of the sleeping dart, but because Falling looked so scary right now. All she could imagine is when he found out, what he would do to her.

"We should get moving, then. It's not safe here."
Haze stood. "What about A-er, Shade. Sorry, I have somewhat of a cough..." He pulled nervously at his collar.
"...Hmm, she'll have to be guided by you. There's no time to waste."

Ava seemed pleased to be guided by Haze. Tear stood where he was. "I should go, then." he said.
Ava echoed Cho's thoughts. "No, stay." she turned to Falling with a look that said Can't he?
Dispite her hatred to him, she wanted him to stay.

"If he's an ally, then yes."
Haze held Ava close, thankful that Falling had let him. He was being sort of strict...

Tear watched, a little jealous, but he continued on with his silent mocking. Cho turned to Shadow. "You've been around these places the longest. Do you know any good, hidden, places fit for shelters?

"It's changed drastically, and the only place I can think of would be near the Serpent Tribe's Underground Lakes." He said, calmly.

"Ah, well.." she sighed. "Can you fly up and see if you can see a good place from here?" she asked. Ava caught some of Tear's mocks and stuck her tongue out at him.

Shadow shifted and ascended quickly. "All I can see is open land, and then the place by the Serpent Tribe. It's untouched." He descended again. "We can take the river route or the one that passes several tribes."
