"You go across," she said, "I'll be fine." she said.
Cho swam across easily, and stood, waiting for the others. Her gaze was down, and Ava felt as the the end was nearing for mostly everyone.

He nodded, and shifted his wings, crossing with ease.

Ava crossed last. She didn't have much trouble until nearing the middle, she staggered a little in the water, but crossed safely.

Haze waited for Ava to cross completely; he was itching to see what the shelter looked like. Falling had gone pretty far, too.

Once Ava got completely out, she started walking again. Tear watched her.

He led her along at a fast pace, nearly running since he was so excited. Another new place...

Ava was echoing his thoughts and she twirled around every know and then staring curiously at her surroundings. What an adventure!

Falling, followed by Shadow, reached the shelter first. There was a fire pit right in the center that hadn't been used in seemingly a century; stone cabins surrounded it. He leaned against one to make sure it was sturdy.

Ava came in next, she squealed in curiosity and relief they where finally their. Cho followed, staring at this place. Deep down she knew she was going to die close to here, very soon. Tear could care less.

Haze hopped on the top of one shelter, kicking his feet. This was a really cool spot to him, but he was tired.
Falling looked uneasily behind them as he heard a rustling in the bushes.

Cho heard it too, hoping to see a familiar silhouette appear and shoot her on the scene. (LOL.)
Ava, although tiered, refused to rest until she knew every strant of grass that grew by heart.

Haze didn't pay much attention to what Falling was worried about; he crawled into the shelter and collapsed, trying to fall asleep. But something was wrong.
Shadow felt stupid. Someone was tailing them and he didn't notice?

Ava had heard it now. She reached for her pocket slowly, but something stopped her. Hope and reconization was coming off from Cho in waves.

Falling was prepared to cut this person down. Something eerily hopeful was surging from Cho, though, catching him off-guard.

Cho stepped towards it. She reached out. The silhouette disappeared. Cho knew who it as, though. She could just imagine him with that sideways frown. The one that would say, I'm here to kill you. Stop loving that fact. Cho smiled, "Come to exterminate me, haven't you?" she whispered.

Shadow had half of his mind focused on the man behind to bushes, and the other half on Cho. Why was she so happy?

She heard a voice echo in her head. They're all confused. Go on, tell them. Tell them I've come for you. But Cho shook her head, still with a slight smile. "They can find that out themselfs." she said, she didn't care if the others had heard.

Haze was now listening intently to the scene outside.
Shadow and Falling remained unmoving.

Cho could picture him so clearly now, she flinched. His frown would have increased. He hated when she loved the pain. When she really loved it. Cho's smile faded, and she recoiled a bit, from the vision of him with that hideous frown.

Falling snapped out of it. "Show yourself, you lazy coward!"
Shadow winced. He could've been a bit softer on the ears...

The man stepped out. His eyes where an indigo blue, that perfectly resembled Cho's, and his face was starting to grow into a beard. His stance, so similar to Cho's, could show they where clearly resembled. His voice rumbled in a growl. "Coward?! Tell that to that half-human!" He said, his gaze piercing through Cho. Cho looked up at him, like a firstborn child looking into the eyes of a monster. She instantly cried at the sight of him and fell to her knees. "I'm sorry father. I'm a disgrace. I shouldn't have been born." she recited what she had been taught to say, to think, to speak, to hear.

Half-human. Half-human.
Falling's mind shattered at the words. His head craned to look at her, with the most pitiful expression. An insane, fiery rage boiled inside his head; he couldn't hear, he couldn't think. He was dead. He was going to kill her.
Shadow jumped at the realization that falling had finally snapped. Haze crept out of the shelter in horror, for this man reminded him of his parents...

The man, hands in his pockets, shoved his shoe in the girls face, and into the ground. He held her down, and she didn't squirm. She just kept repeating those words. At one point she had screamed, "Just kill me already, Father! i want to go to hell!" At this point, Ava was frozen. Her eyes darting to Cho, to Falling, to Cho's Father and back.

"Get the hell off of her." Falling was monotone, completely robotic. His body had gone rigid, all feeling drained from it. He took several steps towards them. "Get off."

The man did as he was told and sneered to the crying girl. Cho, stayed where she was. "Disgusting, filthy, disgraceful.." she continued on her list, her deep, emotional indigo eyes staring into her father's cold, hard indigo eyes. They where so different. They where so alike.
