Shifter RPG

"What, you want me to drop you?" He teased, and struck a stalagmite in his wake. The scenery started to spin as he struggled to stay conscious, to keep his grip on Diff.
His leg was bleeding from the impact.

Difference let out a small 'eep' and gripped him even tighter, "Just hurry up and get us down."

He took dangerous dips and dives, unable to keep dodging stalagmites and stalactites any longer.
He crashed down on the top of a stone building, now unconscious.

Difference kept clutching him, and a few moments passed before she finally released him, shocked and dizzy. She had received a couple cuts and bruises, and one large gash on her back that had already begun bleeding.

The caverns surrounding the two were wide and full of chatter from the shifters below.
Roads and roads of pedestrians stretched through the cave, into the darkness.

She kicked Arch, hoping to wake him. "Wake up, d*** it, don't leave me in this creepy city alone." She said, and shoved him.

His leg was bleeding, most likely broken even worse than before. That injury was coupled with gashes and bruises from the fall.

She shoved him again, "D*** you, zebra...dalmation-thing!"

Archaea was in a state of panic. Where was Difference? Where was anything?
All that surrounded him was darkness. He could see the blood floating from his body, but he couldn't feel it.
He levitated in the void.
Alone.

She kicked him again, then finally gave up with an aggravated sigh, and started pacing, deciding what to do next.

In the void, Archaea couldn't help but wonder if Diff was okay. Did he crush her in the fall? No, that couldn't happen... he was quite light for his size.
He curled into a fetal position.

"...Need any help?" said a voice. Difference jumped, and turned to the person with a growl. "No, I think I'm fine, thank you." she replied. "You think?" Difference let out a growl, examining the shifter. "...Just get out of here, dragon shifter." She spat back. Tech stepped away from the fire escape and towards the wolf shifter. He knew she wouldn't try anything, the wound on her back prevented her, and so he found it he could get his way easily. "You can trust me more than most of the people you see around here, don't worry. Let me carry your friend to my place, it's in this building actually. Hanging out on a rooftop until he wakes up is not a good idea." He told her. She mumbled something, and after a quick argument, decided to agree.

Archaea shifted through his thoughts. She could have died on impact or passed out from blood loss. She might have left him since he was dead weight in this form.
The only thought he could settle on was that he was so lonely here.

Tech picked Arch up, and motioned for Difference to follow. Difference growled softly, but followed anyhow.

Archaea felt consciousness returning to him.
He was still unable to open his eyes, but he moved, realizing he was being held by someone. He opened his eyes tenderly, expecting it to be Difference.

Seconds later, a shriek of surprise left his lungs.

Tech glanced at Arch with a questioning glance. Difference bit back a laugh, "Welcome back." she said.

"Put me down!" He yelled, unhappy.

Tech did as he was told, "To be expected." he said to himself.

Archaea shook himself off, noting the blood on his leg. He gently shifted his weight to the other leg, which had not fully healed from the previous accident.
"Who are you?" He was defensive.

"Tech," he replied, seemingly no trace of defiance.

"Why are you here?"
He pulled his hat down.

"Why are you here?" he asked, though answered after "I live here. I heard your crash-landing."

Archaea prepared a witty remark but rethought it and grew silent.

He paused as if expecting something, and as he thought, Difference spoke up. "Okay, let's get going before I bleed myself to death, here." She growled

Archaea went over things to scream at this person. He was uncomfortable in the dragon's presence... there was just something about him.
Soon his thoughts became calm and he started listening to a very calm song in his head, nodding slightly to it and smiling.
