"I'm going for a walk." He stated, limping carefully back to the village. If he listen closely, he could hear the dead whisper and cry about the lost lake. If he listened closer, he could hear Zane himself.
It was best he left before the dead decided to strangle him.

She stood by the water a little longer. "Heh." she muttered, staring at the dead lake, before turning and catching up to him. "Y'know. Even if you are a demon, if you keep putting so much pain on your legs they will never work right again."

He stopped.
Children stopped with him. Vendors stopped selling. Time stood still. He looked back at her. Guards began restraining him. In a fit of rage, Archaea screamed, "Difference? How can you turn in you own blood brother?! Sister, how could you?!"
Guards turned toward her to restrain her as well.

"I'm not a demon, darn it!" She said, struggling and kicking at them. Clawing at them, too. Whatever she could do. "I'm not a demon I'm a wolf! I'M A WOLF!" She screamed, biting one of the guards fingers right off.

The guards restrained both of them, walking them side by side toward the prison. Archaea smiled smugly at her. "I told you there'd be trouble."

"F*** off, darn you." he growled, still struggling helplessly. "Ugh, why me?!"

The guards tossed them both into the same cell.
"Argh, ah, watch the legs you heartless bastards." He muttered, earning him a punch in the stomach. He scrambled over to a corner of the dark cell.

"F***, F***, F***, D***it. D*** YOU!" She yelled, kicking him in the nuts.

"Argh, ah, hey!" He huddled up.
"Don't hate the cripple, it's your own fault."

She growled, ignoring him. "Now what am I supposed to do?! Argh! How could they even mistake me for his sister? WE LOOK NOTHING ALIKE! And he's old too! ARRRGGHHHH!" She said, pacing. Suddenly she slammed her head against the bars. "And they don't even serve decent food here..not even tuna.."

"The guards are so paranoid around here... they didn't even stop to check us..." He took off his hat and pulled his jacket tighter. "I have to wait until night now, too."

"TUNAAAA." She cried ignoring. "I've never been to jail before. Is this what it's like? No tuna?! ARGHHH!" She turned to him. "..I'm sorry what was that you said?" she asked, monotone. Her emotions seemed to be changing constantly, due to her anger and shock.

"I said, they didn't even stop to check if we were demons or not."
Again, he pulled his jacket tightly around his shoulders.
"Is it cold in here or is it just me?"

"I haven't really thought about the temperature. Yeah, a little I guess." She said and say down. "Arghh this is so frustrating."

"Just shut up and wait for nightfall." He muttered. He noticed that his legs were bleeding just slightly, but he had nothing else to wrap them in besides his jacket, and that posed a problem.

Difference noticed the blood too. "..Don't expect me to help." She growled and layed down on the cold floor.

"Well damn." With a bit of a struggle, he shed his jacket and wrapped it around his legs. He shivered with cold.
"When is damn night going to fall?"

"Shut up and maybe it'll come faster." She said, rolling so her back was facing him. She groaned and shiviered. "Argh, no tuna."

"Blame it on me, but it's your fault." He said, still shivering. "I told you not to. You wolves are really bad at listening."
As he spoke, stronger rays of sunlight pierced the darkness of the cell through the barred window. Archaea smiled.

"Argh." she said, shifting into a wolf to keep warm. "..Much better."

What seemed like hours passed until the moon shone strongly. The guards shut off the main lights of the prison, and the keeper's snores echoed loudly through the corridor. Archaea stood, quietly, and shuffled back into his jacket.

Difference stayed where she was, quietly sleeping.

Archaea tapped her repeatedly on the shoulder. He pointed to the window.

She shifted human and stood up quietly, muffling a yawn.

Archaea shifted, and in a quick second, proceeded to rip the bars off of the window. He heard the keeper fall out of his chair. Quickly, he motioned to Diff to move as he shifted back and scrambled out the window, landing in a heap.
