Shifter RPG

Shadow wandered into the dead forest and wondered. He'd spent this whole time on a dead island without thinking about anyone else. He could've helped win the war by now...

Cho sighed and sat, 'He'll come around..' she kept telling herself.

Shadow made up his mind.
After all he'd been through, was he going to commit suicide or continue fighting for peace?
He slowly wandered back out into their sight again.

Cho sighed, full of relief. She'd been hoping he would do the right thing.

Falling was just about ready to jump him if he decided to run again.
Shadow made no eye contact at first, instead he trudged right up to Cho and apologized.
He acted as though it was a punch in his pride; speaking shyly and solemn.

Cho smiled, "It's okay." she said, and quickly glanced at the others. (jsut cuz she wanted to)

Falling relaxed.
At least Shadow was a shifter. If he was human, regardless of what Cho thought, he'd be dead where he stood.
Haze was having trouble looking directly at the dragon, for fear of being crippled by his dark powers. Shadow noticed the bird shifter's discomfort, and ventured a kind smile. Haze jumped.
Well that didn't help much.

Cho watched them and after a long pause, "This place scares me, can we go back now?" (lol)

Shadow stayed silent but nodded.
Falling agreed.
Haze said, "Whatever'll get me off this cursed place is good for me!" And shifted.

Cho looked back the way they came, making sure they weren't going to get lost and they headed out. (I guess. Lol, idk.)

Haze took to the air and flew quickly back to the shoreline. Shadow followed suit. He shifted his wings onto his back and took off after the bird.
Falling was left with Cho.

Cho watched them too tiered, from running after Falling from before, to run after them.

"Shall we walk?" Said Falling, seemingly as tired as her.
(lol gentleman-like)

Cho agreed, noticing his gentleman attitude.

Haze reached the shoreline quickly, noticing that Shadow had been following him.
When Shadow landed, Haze bursted out with a, "What, so you're good now?!"
Shadow cringed and said nothing.

Cho walked with Falling to the shore, holding her arm where she had cut it. It wasn't bleeding any more, but it still stung a little. Cho wasn't use to this pain like Falling was.

"The salt water's going to hurt that wound, you know." He said.

Haze was obviously pissed. "You try to kill me, run off to commit suicide, then come back and say you're sorry?!" Shadow refused to speak.

"I know, how do you think I got here?" she hissed at him, not realizing how angry she sounded.

He paused a moment, then said, "I would offer to carry you, but it's water. And I'm no god."

Cho didn't respond, just looked the other way and let out a soft hiss.

Falling stopped.
He shifted and offered to carry her on his back.

Shadow wasn't about to keep listening to Haze's angry remarks. He climbed a tree and stayed up there, out of reach of Haze.
Haze mentioned that he didn't want to waste effort to go up there anyway.

"No, I'm fine. It's not like it's going to kill me." she said, still a little sharp.

He looked at her, finally showing some worry, but shrugged and dived into the water.
If she didn't want help, she wasn't getting help.

Cho followed him, staying in her human form, her cat form was so little it would jsut slow her down.

Falling reached shore quickly, but kept an eye on Cho. He'd been in salt water with a wound before. He knew how much it stung and annoyed. He wanted to keep her from experiencing it again, but she wouldn't let him.
