"Everywhere." But he motioned that she shouldn't waste her bandages on him.

Cho insisted on helping him.

"No, no. I can tell you'll need them for something else. I'm only a small matter, anyways." He tried not to wince. Trees hurt when you're continually slammed into them.

She blinked at him, concerned. But she said nothing. She turned and faced Falling, his uninjured body stood out from the others. He was lucky. "Falling, wake up!" she slapped him.

He didn't budge.
Haze slumped into his hammock, keeping a close eye on Ava.
Shadow relaxed, feeling the strain that he had put on his body. Always give it 110%...

Cho sighed and found a comfortable spot next to Ava who had passed out.

When the sun crept over the purple-grey mountains, Haze was up with it. He didn't mind the pain much, he was more worried about Ava than anything.
And Shadow, who was awaiting the others awakening, was perched on his tree branch, as silent as a cat stalking it's prey.

Ava slept on, breathing steadier. She flinched every now and then. Cho stretched, just waking up. Tear hadn't slept much at all and was staring a them.

They all seemed to be fine, he decided, and the dragon shifted his wings and headed out.
Haze was too worried about Ava to care where Shadow was going.

Cho blinked, still blind by her recent rest. She padded quietly (in cat shift) over to Tear and sat down.
"What?" Tear.
"Are you going to run off after you are healed?" Cho.
"Depends."
A purr. "You'll stay."
A snort and a grumble.

It hurt to fly, but he had to... Once he rose above the trees and got a glimpse of how much the land had changed, he sighed. How nostalgic. He could even see the underground lakes from here...

Ava stirred and moaned. Her eyes opened slightly but then closed. She wanted to keep dreaming.

Haze sighed, glad she was okay.

The way the sunlight bounced off of the silvery surface of the pure lakes almost made the dragon cry. He had spent so many years beside Mace at the lakes...

Finally, Ava seemed to raise herself and she blinked. Although still injured, she managed to speak. Softly. "Haze?" it seemed like the right question to ask. She was still dazed, and her vision was blurry. Tear seemed to stir when she woke up "Why pity a human and take her in?" he growled then turned to Cho and added "Why pity a half-human?"
Cho hissed, holding back a retort. She stepped back. Ava blinked, this was a new bit of information.

"I'm right here, Ava." Haze said softly, assuring her.

Shadow descended into the plaza of the God Tribe. People stood and stared as he shifted his wings away and stretched. It must've been the way he looked...

Ava sighed, and Cho hissed a warning to Ava. "Remember, don't speak too much!" Tear, although his recent words, found himself looking pitifully at Ava. What stopped him was more than one thing. She's human. She's going to go to hell. I'm not. She deserved to be beaten up. Besides-, he had stopped short there.

Haze sensed his pity and feeling of dominance over Ava. He shot Tear an angry look. Don't mess with my girl.

Children and adults alike stopped and stared at the scrawny dragon. Shadow could barely stand it; he hated attention. It reminded him of the bustling underground that was the Serpent Tribe.

Tear stared at Haze, trying hard not to smile. Ava blinked.
Tear then brought himself to think about the dragon shifter who had just recently flew away. The one that had wished for a fight, but ended up being his own bully when he had shifted without meaning to. "Your Dragon-friend left." he said.
"He went to the God Tribe." It was Ava. "How do you know?" Tear sneered. Ava blinked back, awkwardly. "I take my guesses literal."

"Er, nothing to see here, move along." He said, waving his hands in a shooing motion. Adults quit staring, but some children - who were either incredibly brave or dared - came up. "Why are you here?" "What's your name, Mr. Dragon?" "Does that hurt?" "Can you fly?"
Some of the questions were obvious, but he answered with a rushed tone, careful not to scare or upset them. He backed away with a grin and said he had to get something and then leave.

Tear continued on staring. Ava returned the gaze evenly. Cho, who was more worried about Shadow than anything, asked questions and didn't wait for answers "Should we go get him?...Will the other dragon-shifters think of him as a threat? Will he come back? Will he tell them about us?" and on.

He had noticed Cho's thinning supply of bandages, since they were always getting hurt. The realization that she couldn't go out and get more had fallen upon him early that morning, and he took it upon himself to buy more.
Shadow stumbled through the crowd to a vendor and set his money on the counter. He hoped that the wolf would take his old and nearly-rusted metal coins.

After a while, Ava pulled out her gun. Tear didn't falter his gaze. Cho stopped Ava. "Don't." Ava was obedient and did as she was told. She mumbled. While she was mumbling, Tear realized that the wound on her neck was beginning to spill fresh blood out. "Stop talking," he warned her, his voice and gaze finally faltering. Ava stopped talking and looked thankfully at Tear for reminding her. Tear's gaze shied away.

Haze moved towards her, still awkward and unsure about the new fox. "Cho, you should've bandaged that wound. She's a big talker, you know."

The wolf stared at his museum-worthy metal that lied still despite the noise and movement of the market. "Where'd you get these?" He asked.
"They've... just been in my pocket for a while."

Ava couldn't help but smile at Haze. Cho nodded and shifted human, walking up to the bandage case. She took what was left, which was mostly used scraps, and did what she could to with it. Tear watched, awkwardly.

A smile visibly crept along the wolf's face, and he returned two coins to Shadow, handing him the bandages as well. "Only one coin, these days?" He questioned, suspicious.
"Sir, these coins are worth much more than you think. I gave you more bandages than usual, to make up for it. Thank you, sir! Thank you!"
Shadow nodded, unsure of what he had just done. But he was done there, so he shifted his wings and ascended into the bright blue gradient of a sky.
